10. T.H.U.N.D.E.R. Agents #7

Writers: Nick Spencer    Artists: CAFU, Bit, Mike Grell & Nick Dragotta

These panels were meant to be serious and underscore the gravity of the situation within the context of the story, but I couldn’t help but chuckle at how flippantly she discusses the notion of matricide.

8. Amazing Spider-man #661

The problem with superhero quotes is that it is difficult to verify their origin.  – Giant-Man

Should have wished for the volleyball team.


6. Heroes for Hire #7

Shang-Chi? No, no wait…. Sentry! No, that’s not it….   I got it! Batman!

 

5. Doctor Who: A Fairytale Life #2

Writer: Matt Sturges    Artist: Kelly Yates

It really is a common mistake.  They lure you in with the promise of tasty space chicken wings and then BAM! You’re inside their stomach.

4. Power Girl #24

Writer: Judd Winick     Artist: Henry Pasetya

Nothing’s as effective as the drunk playboy.  Maybe the glasses, but the drunk playboy is truly the more bulletproof package.

3. DeadpoolMAX #8

Writer: David Lapham     Artist: Kyle Baker

This book can be delightfully twisted when it wants to be.

2. Darkwing Duck #12

The customary housewarming gift of the Lovecraftian deity: the bucket of dead fish.  As is tradition.

Man-Bull is just adorable with his blatant insecurities.
