Judging from the online reaction to the much awaited showdown between Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao, the fight of the century was a disappointment. Millions tuned in to watch the fight, with countless others peeking in through whatever means they could find. It was a typical outing for Mayweather, outboxing his opponent while taking criticism from all sides outside the ring. It works for him, but it isn’t exactly the most exciting sort of showcase for fans.

Mike Tyson probably summed up many people’s thought on the fight, fueling those dreams of what might’ve been at the same time.

Elsewhere, you had many crowning UFC on what was supposed to be boxing’s big night.

Luckily most of the folks walked away looking to make a joke and a had a good time at the expense of what they saw in the ring:

The fight even bled into SNL a bit, much to the displeasure of Jay Pharoah

And then new Daily Show host Trevor Noah showed a little bit of what we might see once he takes over for Jon Stewart at the end of the summer (or he’s just a buzzkill).

There’s bound to be more out there, so we’ll update as we go forward.
