The gunman believed to have killed WDBJ journalists Alison Parker and Adam Ward has been identified as former WDBJ reporter Vester Flanagan, who was known as “Bryce Williams” on the air. According to CNN, Flanagan was fired about a year ago by the station.

It’s also been reported that Flanagan videoed the murders using a GoPro camera and he posted the footage to his Facebook and Twitter accounts.
Additionally, authorities believe that Flanagan is currently on the run in a Ford Mustang and ABC is reporting that they received a 23-page fax from Flanagan/Williams overnight.

UPDATE: It’s being reported that Flanagan has shot himself. He’s reported to be in “very critical condition.”
