Universal Pictures’ big July 4th movie for 2013 is “R.I.P.D.”, which is apparently a movie about Green Lantern and The Dude finding who killed GL and sent him packing to the afterlife. Tradition demands, since this is a police department, that their lieutenant be an angry black man who chews them out and takes their badges at some point in the plot.
Apparently, Mary Louise Parker is that angry black man. Originally it was going to be Jodie Foster, who was last seen in the single most unfortunately named movie of 2011 and which she also directed, but apparently Mary Louise was cheaper.
No, the photo at right will not be her outfit. But we can hope.
