American Horror Story: Hotel (FX, 10:00 p.m.) — After last week’s tribute to H.H. Holmes revealed the gruesome history of the hotel and ended in a blood orgy, Donovan meets his competition in a woman they call “The Countess.”
Empire (FOX, 9:00 p.m.) — Ne-Yo guest stars as Ne-Yo and Cookie’s label tries to make it jump off with a block party to highlight Hakeem’s new joint.
South Park (Comedy Central, 10 p.m.) — Randy was just trying to get some fresh kale and gluten-free vodka when he gets called out for not donating a dollar to help hungry kids when he’s checking out at Whole Foods. We’ve all been there.
Modern Family (ABC, 9:00 p.m.) — Gloria has jury duty and Claire takes Haley and Alex to the office for “Take Your Daughter to Work Day” even though they’re, like, way to old for that ish.
Arrow (The CW, 8:00 p.m.) — Oliver and Diggle learn that the enemy of thy enemy is thy friend while Laurel and Thea return to Nanda Parbat to resolve some daddy issues.
MLB Postseason (TBS, 8:00 p.m.) — Oct. 21, 2015 is the day that Marty McFly jumps forward to in Back to the Future II, where he learns that the Cubs have won the 2015 World Series. In our reality, they’re hosting the Mets at Wrigley Field for Game 4 of the NLCS. The Cubbies are down 3-0, so they’ll have to hope for some serious magic to come back and fulfill the prophecy.
The Goldbergs (ABC, 8:30) — Barry goes to school dressed like Boy George.
Law & Order: SVU (NBC, 9:00 p.m.) — Rollins’ sister makes her dramatic return and we meet the newest member of the elite squad known as the “Special Victim’s Unit,” Sgt. Mike Dodds.
Black-ish (ABC, 9:30 p.m.) — The Johnsons trade their holy day of NFL RedZone to … go to church.
Nashville (ABC, 10:00 p.m.) — The road is no place for unsupervised teenagers, as Maddie quickly finds out when she joins Colt on Luke’s tour. Juliette tries to be her tour Sherpa as she gets her feet underneath her.
The League (FXX, 10:00 p.m.) — Lions WR Golden Tate guest stars to give the guys a taste of their own medicine by drafting them in a weird office fantasy league. Of course Taco’s in on it.
You’re the Worst (FXX, 10:30 p.m.) — When the marathon closes streets and keeps everyone trapped in the house, Gretchen and Jimmy have their “Fly” episode as they try to kill a mouse while staving off cabin fever.
