Every once in a while, an alleged yeti sighting wanders in from the fringes of nature and into the hearts of internet users. Russia seems to be at the center of many of these abominable snowman instances, and yet another has reared its ugly head, complete with creepy video. The elusive beast has been hunted by thrill seekers for centuries, so maybe these Russians are the first to finally catch this “missing link” on camera. Unlikely, but maybe!
In a wobbly video filmed in the Republic of Bashkortostan, some dudes just happened to be videotaping their hunt for the elusive beast as an ape-like creature skitters across their path. Honestly, it could just be a person in a heavy jacket trying to get out of the way of an approaching vehicle, but where’s the whimsy in that? There are worse hobbies to have than searching out the elusive cousin of Bigfoot, so keep on keeping on, Yeti Seekers. 2016 has been one hell of a year, so why not buy in to the legend of the yeti? If you need to believe in a furry man-beast roaming the wilds of Russia, I’m not going to be the one to stop you.
