Meme Watch: You Will Not Go To Space Today

Last November 12th, webcomic xkcd posted “Up Goer Five“, a comic in which Randall Munroe described a diagram of the Saturn V rocket using only the 1000 most common English words. The comic ended with the statement, “The end should point toward the ground if you want to go to space. If it starts pointing toward space you are having a bad problem and you will not go to space today.”

It was a statement ready-made for meme-ification, and by the next day a single serving Tumblr appeared to explain all the ways in which You Will Not Go To Space Today. The Tumblr recently went on hiatus, and we went into withdrawal. So we’ve made seven new image macros to add to the collection. Our seven new ones — along with some of our favorites from You Will Not Go To Space Today — are collected below.
