Ingrid Nilsen has won over millions of young fans with her fun videos about style and makeup, but the YouTube celebrity’s latest video was a hard one to make. That’s because Nilsen (Or Miss Glamorazzi, as she is known by her fans) wasn’t talking about makeup. She was talking about coming out as gay.
The entire video, which is nearly twenty minutes long, is a rollercoaster of emotions. Nilsen talks about her past relationships, the invisible wall that separated her from people who didn’t know her sexual orientation and how difficult it is to come out to not a handful of people, but three million subscribers. As Boing Boing points out, hopefully Nilsen’s honesty will inspire her fans to be “just as open about who they are, too.”
