Amy Poehler, Andy Richter, And Others Explain Pay Inequality With This Adorable ‘My Little Pony’ Spoof

Despite what Bill O’Reilly says about those who work hard in our country irrevocably being able to succeed, many of us know that’s not always the case. As part of the We the Economy web series, Adam McKay directed this short animated film, “The Unbelievably Sweet Alpacas,” starring Amy Poehler, Maya Rudolph, Sarah Silverman, Billy Eichner, and Andy Richter to break down wealth distribution and wage inequality using the analogy of a trio of alpacas who are just entering the workforce at the Lollipop Factory after having graduated Sweetness School.

So I guess presenting the message with adorable My Little Pony knock offs and Billy Eichner as a talking lollipop almost makes it less depressing? Yeah, I don’t think so either.
