It’s been nearly a full week since we talked about Anna Kendrick (remember her adorable obsession with red pandas?), and that’s way too long to go without referencing Kendrick. Fortunately, she’s on the cover of NYLON magazine this week, which gives us another opportunity to bring her up.
In the issue, Anna Kendrick talks about her love of Twitter and what she occasionally regrets about her tweets:
“Twitter is only 140 characters. There’s really not that much I could reveal, then regret later. Of course, me being me, the tweets I want to take back are the ones that I think could’ve been punchier or more concise.”
More specifically, she circles back around to that Ryan Gosling tweet that actually fueled the internet for three days.

But she doesn’t regret that tweet, either.
“Thank God I’ve never been in a room with him! I don’t feel embarrassed, though,” she admits. “I’m sure he has a sense of humor. But I’d probably feel like I’d have to address [the tweet], and I’d end up saying something to make it much, much worse.”
She’s right, too. What do you say if you’re Anna Kendrick trapped in a room with Gosling? Do you bring up the masturbating elephant in the room? How do you even broach the topic?
