College Shooter Called His Victim A ‘Child Molester’ In A Courtroom Rant

Wayne Community College shooter Kenneth Stancil called his victim, Ron Lane, a “child molester” on a courtroom video and said that prison doesn’t worry him.

In another bizarre moment of this sad case, Stancil ranted about Lane during his recent court hearing. Lane was Stancil’s former boss and the sole victim in the fatal shooting at Wayne Community College in North Carolina. Prior to the shooting, Stancil had lost his job for “excessive absences,” and according to his mother, he got a white supremacist “88” tattoo below his eye only days before:

When informed in court that there was a warrant out for his arrest on suspicion of murder, Stancil called Wane a child molester. “I just want you to know, I ridded one less fucking child molester from the fucking earth that fucked with my little brother. All right? That’s all I got to say,” Stancil said, per WFTV.“I don’t give a fuck how much time they give me. Doing time is the easy fucking part, know what I’m saying?”

There doesn’t seem to be much evidence to support Stancil’s allegations. Even Stancil’s mother does not believe that Lane ever met Stancil’s brother, much less molested him. She charitably explained that her son is “rattled and confused” and in need of “mental help.” Taking into consideration Stancil’s recent tattoo and the fact that Lane was gay, the shooting is being investigated as a hate crime.
