How Far Will Donald Trump Go In His Quest To Eliminate The 14th Amendment?

Donald Trump believes that the 14th amendment is “unconstitutional.” If the Republican presidential candidate has his way, he’d like to completely eliminate the amendment and begin a presumably quick and insanely difficult task of deporting not just every illegal immigrant in the country, but also any child who was born to illegal immigrants and has been living here legally. To top it all off, while everyone is being bussed, booted, or catapulted back across the border, Trump wants a wall erected between the U.S. and Mexico, and he wants our neighbors to the south to pay for it. Sure, it’s a tall, unrealistic order, but the man simply knows what he wants.

Naturally, his brash and blunt approach to winning the White House has people outraged and offended, from his unapologetic use of the phrase “anchor babies” to his insistence that the majority of gang members are also illegal immigrants. And when two men beat up a homeless man and urinated on him in the name of “supporting” Trump’s immigration policy? The candidate calls them “passionate.” It’s almost mind-boggling that some people don’t understand why Deez Nuts is such a refreshing change of pace.

For more on Trump’s crusade to destroy the 14th amendment, we turn to anchors Tom Storey and Briana Lane on today’s episode of The Desk.
