A College Student Is Driving A Barbie Jeep Around Campus After Her DWI Arrest

Where some see an insurmountable problem, others find a solution. Tara Monroe, a 20-year-old industrial engineering major at Texas State University, had her driver’s license suspended when she refused to take a breathalyzer test after a Waka Flocka Flame concert. We won’t hold that against her, though (seeing Waka Flocka Flame, that is). Needing a way to get around campus, Monroe took to Craigslist, where she found someone selling a used Barbie Jeep for $60.

Monroe told My San Antonio that when she bought it, she was greeted by the previous owner, a young girl named Charlene, “who asked where the little one was to test drive it.” She responded, “I am the little one,” before slowly scooting away.

“It goes pretty fast when it’s just me, so I usually make them (her friends) walk behind me like parents taking their kid out to play,” she quipped. “I’m just happy everyone thinks this is so hilarious.” (Via My San Antonio)

Y’know, minus the whole DWI thing, she might’ve added.
