Donald Trump Wants You To Boycott Starbucks And Say ‘Merry Christmas’

Donald Trump’s sensibilities have been violated by Starbucks’ decision to opt for bland holiday messaging on their coffee cups over non-secular imagery (or reindeers), and the presidential candidate has thrown his “Make America Great Again” hat into the controversy ring.

“I have one of the most successful Starbucks, in Trump Tower,” he said. “Maybe we should boycott Starbucks? I don’t know. Seriously, I don’t care. That’s the end of that lease, but who cares?”

Um, America cares. Or maybe just Facebook.

Anyway, Trump continued wading into this viral scandal by saying that if he becomes president, “we’re all going to be saying Merry Christmas again, that I can tell you.” So, “War on Christmas?” Squashed. Interactions at my local temple after 2016? Awkward. But how does Trump plan on making a land of free citizens bend to his will when it comes time to trade seasonal greetings?

“I don’t have to get specific. With me, it just works. It’s just magic.”

That’s from an SNL sketch over the weekend, but let’s just assume it applies to this, as well.
