This Mom Dressed Her Sleeping Baby Up As Eleven From ‘Stranger Things’

It’s no secret the world is obsessed with Netflix’s Stranger Things right now.

From crossover theories — that are true by the way — to our newly rediscovered love for Eggo waffles, the drama series has us maxed out on 80s nostalgia and desperately waiting for season two to be released so that we may finally have #JusticeForBarb. Even celebrities like Aaron Paul loose their sh*t when talking to the show’s cast — which is mostly made up of kids who haven’t even hit puberty yet, but who are infinitely more talented than the rest of us will ever hope to be.

But one mom is taking her fangirling to the next level — and she’s recruiting her baby to help her.

Laura Izumikawa Choi is a photographer based in Los Angeles who was recently gifted with the perfect prop — her four-month old baby girl, Joey. Joey, it turns out, is a heavy sleeper, so Laura decided to use nap time as an opportunity to introduce her daughter to the wonderful world of cosplay and then sharing pictures of her on Instagram. Joey’s portrayed many characters, but the photo that’s causing the internet to lose its freaking mind is this gram of Joey dressed up as fan-favorite Eleven from Stranger Things:

Laura even shared a behind the scenes video of the already iconic photo, but be warned, it has the potential to melt ovaries.

Of course, her mom is a pop culture junkie, so baby Joey isn’t just restricted to ’80s TV characters. At four-months old, she’s already lived many lives.

She’s been a watcher on the wall.

Lived it up as a single lady.

Rocked a rhyme that’s on time.

Worked at everyone’s favorite fast-food chain.

And traveled to a galaxy far far away.

Take note, Instagrammers, for the winning formula for amassing more likes is simple: sleeping baby + cosplay outfits = an overload of cuteness.
