A Real-Life Daenerys Is Spoiling ‘Game Of Thrones’ For Her Cheating Ex-Boyfriend

It’s one of the most hotly debated questions of our time: When are spoilers fair game? Take Game of Thrones, for instance. In the post Uproxx published right after an episode aired, we referred to it as “devastating,” but left out the specific devastation in the headline. But now that it’s the morning after, and the assumption is that you should be watching Game of Thrones the night-of, or else, can we say Blah Blah Blah died and nothing feels good?

There’s probably no right or wrong answer when it comes to spoilers, unless you’re the ex-girlfriend of Reddit user “Khaleesiscorned.” He cheated on “Dany” with an ex — (“I had a lot of jealously issues”), and now she’s getting her revenge by ruining Game of Thrones for him via text. She’s right:

“Dany” introduced me to Game of Thrones, and I got addicted to it. Unfortunately while abroad, I wasn’t able I watch it live, and usually it would take a while to find a good stream, if at all. The internet out there was bad… Dany blocked me on every form of communication when we broke up. But, on the Monday after season six premiered she unblocked me and I saw I had messages from her. I was excited because I thought maybe she forgave me and we could move on, but it was literally just every spoiler from the first episode. (Via Death and Taxes)

It wasn’t just the premiere — “Dany” spoils the show every week. “I tried to ask her to stop,” he wrote, “but she blocks me immediately after she sends the message. I blocked her on whatsapp, but she did it via Facebook. Then the next week it was text. She even borrowed one of our mutual friends phones to do it, and I fell for that.” He’d watch it live, but he has to wait until his new girlfriend gets home from work. “How can I get her to stop?” he asked.

Here’s an idea: Don’t cheat. It’s playing with fire, and that doesn’t end well.
