Video Has Emerged That Appears To Show Johnny Depp Going Berserk On Amber Heard

The divorce battle between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard may have risen to a new level with the release of this video from TMZ. The footage, captured by Heard, appears to show Depp smash a glass and otherwise go berserk while stomping around a kitchen and wearing one of his signature hats.

Earlier this year, people were shocked by pictures of a bruised Heard and allegations of domestic abuse by Depp. Many of the actor’s friends, including comedian Doug Stanhope, fiercely defended him and claimed that Heard had “blackmailed” and “manipulated” her husband for the maximum divorce payout possible. Other photos, which showed Heard with a busted lip, surfaced with claims that Depp once tried to suffocate his wife. And all along, rumors swirled about Depp’s possible drug and alcohol abuse as a motivating factor in these alleged violent outbursts.

This newly emerged video appears to support this theory. Heard alludes to just waking up and apologizes for something while Depp is shown kicking various objects and slamming cabinets before smashing a glass and emptying a wine bottle. At one point, he also says, “You want to see crazy, I’ll show you something crazy.” Then he notices the camera, a scuffle of sorts ensues, and the footage ends. The action depicted here also lends credence to the rumor that Depp broke his hand by slamming it into a wall last summer, which halted Pirates of the Caribbean production.

Depp’s camp has told TMZ that the footage is “heavily edited” and “a complete set up.” They also claim that part of the video shows Heard “smiling and egging him on.” And his team believes Heard leaked this footage, but she has denied doing so. The release of this clip also follows claims by Depp’s lawyer, Laura Wasser, who says Heard refused to testify at last weekend’s deposition and simply “paced in a separate room” while acting “manic and irrational.” The deposition was rescheduled for this past Friday, but Heard rescheduled again due to an emergency.
