How A Little Girl’s Perfect Trump Insult Tricked Half The Internet

If you’ve been on Twitter recently there’s a good chance you’ve seen the above tweet currently accumulating likes and retweets like wildfire, featuring a clip of a little girl telling President Donald Trump that he is a disgrace to the world as he attempts to reach down and embrace her in a hug at what appears to be a rally or protest. As much as many of us would like to believe that this happened at face value, there are just a few problems, here.

First and foremost, we all know that the real Donald Trump would never attend a protest, since protesters are obviously all just paid lackeys of the Democrats and/or fake news media. Not to mention that in general, the president does not tend to mingle with the common people, unless those common people are shelling out a quarter of a million per year for exclusive Mar-a-Lago memberships.

So if you haven’t figured out as much by now, that is not in fact Donald Trump, but comedian and Trump impersonator Anthony Atamanuik, of The President Show on Comedy Central. The clip was taken from the following segment in which Atamanuik attends the Tax Day March in Washington D.C. in character as Trump.

Keith Olbermann was one of the first to point out the hoax in the replies to the tweet, but it didn’t stop it from continuing to snowball, with Trump’s OG nemesis Rosie O’Donnell even falling for it.

For his part, Atamanuik is having fun with the whole thing, while taking time to inform the internet that no, that is not really Donald Trump.

So while a little girl didn’t really tell Donald Trump that he’s a disgrace to the world, right to his smug orange face, Atamanuik still makes a good point here.
