This 68-Year-Old Scottish Woman Covering Drake’s Hottest Lines Is The Reason The Internet Was Invented

There are two things you need to know about 68-year-old Bette Reynolds: She loves Drake because he’s “good to his mom” and she uses Vine better than most people do their actual jobs. And the Scottish mom has put her two loves together, dropping some of the Canadian idol’s hottest raps in one of the best damn videos coming out of Scotland today.

Check out this video of Reynolds letting you know that she knows when “that hotline blings.” There’s no Wedding Singer-esque hip-hop-hippity-hop nonsense here. Reynolds’ videos are fantastic because she spits Drake’s lines in a conversational manner that suggests that she truly means business.

Can you imagine this woman sitting you down and reciting a whole song? It would probably take you until a repeat of the chorus to recognize that she’s doing a cover and not reprimanding you for going out more and wearing less.

Loving those bagpipes in the background. Why hasn’t Drake included those in his music yet? When will he have Reynolds on one of his tracks? Sure, she may not be able to spit fast, but I’d love to hear her comforting voice over a diss track. Picture a re-recording of “Back to Back” with Reynolds just mumbling “Meek Mill sucks” in the background! That thing would sell millions! It would bring ringtones back!

Oh, and she’s got enemies:

Lest you think that Reynolds is a one trick pony, you’ve got to see her covering Desiigner.

She’s so disappointed in that Panda! She’s also not really happy with the new Kanye West:

Reynolds told Mashable that her son, a Vine user with over 900,000 subscribers records some of her videos, but she’s also got a hand in handling her burgeoning hip-hop career. In fact, she records some of her videos herself. With her iPad.

Can’t wait for her novelty album! Can you?
