This Comment Section Is The Only Good Comment Section On Facebook

Having the same name as a celebrity is the worst kind of conversation starter. The second everyone at the party finds out you’re a “Meryl Streep” or “George Clooney,” the rest of your night will be spent answering questions about checking into hotels or making dinner reservations. That’s why I’m naming my son or daughter Dingus Q. Bert Lannister Kurp, IV.

On the popular slice-of-life Facebook page Humans of New York, a young woman named Beyoncé talked about, well, what it’s like to be named Beyoncé. She admitted, “Sometimes I hate my name because it always draws attention to me, and I’m not a very social person,” and that once “people learn my name is Beyoncé, somebody starts singing ‘Single Ladies.’ And some did [at her new school], of course.” It’s not all bad impressions, though: “But the second day of school wasn’t too bad. Because everyone knew my name.” Plus, she can relate to fellow famous named people, which is exactly what happened in the comments section.

Eventually, other amusingly named people started chiming in.

I guarantee there’s someone out there with the last name Book who wants to call their kid Face.

We should not let this person breed.
