The ‘This Is Fine’ Dog Is Getting An Adorably Doomed Plushie Courtesy Of Kickstarter

If you’ve been on the internet sometime within the last three years, you’re already well acquainted with the “This is Fine” Dog. First appearing in the webcomic Gunshow by artist KC Green, the doomed pup tries his best to put on a happy face as the world burns down around him, a scenario a lot of people can relate to these days. The comic quickly became a meme, with the first two panels being attached to everything from Donald Trump rants to the latest childhood-destroying ’80s remake news. The little fella is pretty versatile.

Well, now you can have your very own adorable plushie dog to squeeze while you tell yourself things are going to be okay. Just squeeze and squeeze and squeeze. The This Is Fine Dog plushie comes with a fetching hat, a coffee cup emblazoned with his catchphrase, stickers, and a burning kitchen play set. No, really.

Green was only asking for $35,000 to get the toys in production, but the Kickstarter has already raised more than $300,000. As of yet, there’s no word on what Green plans to do with the extra money. Maybe he’ll make a plushie version of his new character, the This Is NOT Fine Dog.

If you’d like to contribute to Green’s Kickstarter/grab yourself a dog, you can do that right here.
