Jared Leto’s getting ready to be Joker in ‘Suicide Squad’

Over the weekend, Jared Leto had hinted that something was coming at the start of the week, and today, it appears to be the Twitter feed of “Suicide Squad” director David Ayer where the something finally arrived.

I'm very curious to see how they handle the design side of things with “Suicide Squad”. Obviously, there have been a number of different live-action treatments of the Joker over the years, and the Heath Ledger take was iconic. Lately, Scott Snyder's treatment of the character has been very strong, and I'm curious to see if any of that creeps into the way they're handling him in this film. I'm equally curious about Margot Robbie's treatment of Harley Quinn, who has never been handled in live-action before. They've got a chance to really define her here, and Harley's got enough rabid fans that if they get her wrong, Warner is going to hear about it. And hear about it. And hear about it.
