No late night host was more pleased to see the fountain of joke material that is Sarah Palin return to the national stage than Stephen Colbert.
You'll remember that Colbert did a little show called “The Colbert Report” on Comedy Central, where Palin provided ample funny fodder. And while Colbert's right wing persona is no more, he can still have fun with her.
“I think she was speaking in tongues!” he said joyfully, after showing a montage of her strange Trump endorsement speech.
He then tried to do his own Palin endorsement speech. A good effort, to be sure, but even Colbert can't out-Palin Sarah Palin.
