Sarah Michelle Gellar turns 36 today. For 32 of those years, she’s been working in THE INDUSTRY, beginning with crappy TV films and commercials before moving onto All My Children, a gig that landed her the starring role in Buffy the Vampire Slayer. While on the classic WB-turned-UPN series, she appeared in movies like I Know What You Did Last Summer, Scream 2 (with our boy Timothy Olyphant), Cruel Intentions, and post-Buffy, The Grudge and Southland Tales. In short, despite being synonymous with a single role, SMG’s had a pretty solid career, and will soon star in a CBS sitcom with Robin Williams, which hopefully won’t destroy all the goodwill she’s earned.
