Quick Question: What Color Is This Jacket?

Hi, friends! Remember exactly a year ago when we all freaked out about the dress, and lives were ruined because people couldn’t decide whether it was black and blue or white and gold? Not to mess up your Friday, but we’ve got a new conundrum on our hands. The picture above, which shows a simple jacket made by Adidas is currently driving the internet wild–so wild, in fact, that the original post’s been deleted–because no one can tell what color it is.

Looks like white and blue in bad lighting to me, but it could also be green and gold? Or green and brown??? There’s already so much controversy that BuzzFeed has created a poll asking users what the colors actually are. Fittingly, the last option is “Oh no oh no oh nononononononononoonoo…” which is fitting considering that we’ll probably be talking about this thing for an entire weekend and someone will actually end a friendship over that discussion.

If nothing else, you should probably take a few moments to say a silent prayer for PopPunkBlogger (who also goes by Nina), whose Tumblr has blown up, and who’s not loving all the attention. When asked “WHAT DID YOU DO?” Nina’s response was “IDK IM SORRY IM SCARED IM SO SCARED IM CRYING” followed by an impassioned plea on her Tumblr for people to stop sending her hate mail because she posted a picture to the internet. Nice to know that we can all be so reasonable about a photo of a jacket!

The only person really benefiting from this is “Damn, Daniel” who’s probably really really excited that his time as an internet sensation has finally come to an end.
