Back in May, it was announced that Batman: Arkham Knight‘s first story-based DLC would star Batgirl. Fans of the latest Arkham game don’t have to wait much longer to play the expansion pack as Gamespot is reporting it will become available on July 21.
The new add-on will be titled Batgirl: A Matter of Family, and the going price will be $6.99 in the US and £5.80 in the UK. Currently, WB Games has only announced plans for playable versions on the PS4 and Xbox One, with no details of a PC version. Given the recent smattering of bugs in the Arkham Knight PC game, this doesn’t come as much of a surprise.
The story in this add-on will take place prior to the timeline of events in the first installment of the Arkham game series. The DLC will allegedly put Batgirl in a “new location with multiple missions, side quests, and secrets.” A new hacking feature and a Dual Play functionality with Robin will also be featured.
For those Arkham Knight season pass holders, Batgirl: A Matter of Family will arrive a week early on Tuesday, July 14th.
