When it comes to #LifeGoals, YouTube star Jenna Marbles just upped the ante for anyone looking to leave their mark on the world. Well, in this case, it’s more of a stamp. Wax stamp, that is. On Thursday, Jenna Marbles (née Jenna Mourey) and wax museum Madame Tussauds announced that a replica of the internet sensation will be appearing this fall in their New York location.
Known for her candid self-help videos covering topics like “What Girls Think About During Sex” and “Drunk Makeup Tutorial,” which have earned her more than 1.8 billion video views, and 15 million subscribers, Mourey’s figure will be joined by Smosh members Anthony Padilla and Ian Hecox. Smosh’s network of YouTube channels, which include comedy and gaming videos, have more than 30 million subscribers.
Marbles, along with the Smosh bros, are the first internet stars to announce they will be a part of the museum. Their figures will debut in San Francisco before touring other Madame Tussauds locations. Both announcements coincided with VidCon, an online video-focused convention in Anaheim July 23-25.
It’s official, we no longer need to strive to be astronauts, athletes or even president if we want the world to remember us. Instead, all we really need is a smart phone and a lot of free time. Congrats, guys!
