Texas Tech QB Patrick Mahomes looked to be on a different page (or planet) than his center against TCU on Saturday, especially on this play early in the first quarter.
While discussing the upcoming play with his running back, DeAndre Washington, the ball was snapped behind Mahomes’ head and into the end zone. Luckily, Washington was paying attention and rushed backwards to cover up the ball for the safety instead of a touchdown.
Might want to talk that one over on the sideline, fellas. Giving up free points to No. 3 ranked TCU was probably not a part of the gameplan.
