The KURATAS Battle Robot exoskeleton was unveiled at the Wonder Festival 2012 in Tokyo, and life will never be the same. Created by artist Kogoro Kurata and roboticist Wataru Yoshizaki, the 4-ton exoskeleton can be controlled by an iPhone or piloted by a human occupant, with a top speed of 6.2 mph (10 km/h). This mechwarrior is 13 feet (~4 meters) tall with twin Gatling guns which fire 6,000 BBs per minute. Hilariously, it fires whenever it recognizes that the pilot is smiling, as seen about three minutes into the first video below. That girl really loves killing.
The KURATAS exoskeleton costs approximately $1.27 million but can be customized at the Suidobashi Heavy Industry website. The website’s currently down, but that may be for the best. They charge an extra $100 for a drink holder, and who can afford that?

“Who is laughing now?” Hopefully not the pilot.
