After last week’s mass shooting, which claimed the lives of 14 people in San Bernardino and injured nearly two dozen more, tensions are at an all-time high on both sides of the gun control debate, with most individuals on the left just completely fed up at this point. It was in the wake of this latest tragedy that the New York Times ran its first front page editorial in nearly a century, pleading for stricter gun control in the United States.
Of course, gun control opponents had plenty to say about the editorial, but none expressed themselves quite like conservative blogger and radio host Erick Erickson, who posted the following photo to Twitter to show the New York Times what he thought of their big fancy words:

Of course, Twitter reacted accordingly to Erickson’s act of protest:

Just remember, folks. Guns don’t kill newspapers; people kill newspapers.
