Major Lazer‘s summer hit “Cold Water,” featuring vocals from Justin Bieber and Danish singer MØ, just received a new black-and-white video treatment that depicts life on the European road for the DJ trio. The group, which consists of Diplo, Jillionaire, and Walshy Fire will return to the United States after performing in Israel this week; but this past summer, they made appearances in Germany, the U.K., Switzerland, France, Spain and more.
We know that being on tour isn’t all fun, games and partying — it involves sleepless nights, living out of suitcases, and near-constant traveling without ever really getting to know a place — but from this compiled footage taken over a period of selected concert dates, you can gather that the group did, in fact, have a fantastic summer and connected with fans all over.
The video gathers a lot of stunning footage from their shows from a variety of angles and perspectives. Certain clips depict a performance through a fans’ lens; other times the viewer is taken directly on stage to where the action, dancers, and pyrotechnics are; and then there are some rare, candid clips which show some backstage camaraderie and joking around as they transport themselves in between gigs. It’s a cool look inside one of the summer’s hottest tracks.
