I’ve never seen, nor cared about, “How I Met Your Mother”. All I know about it is that the tasty and delectable Alyson Hannigan and Doogie Howser are getting regular paychecks. As a result, I’ve never heard of Cobie Smulders, so I did seriously assume a porn star was up for the role of Maria Hill when I saw the name “Cobie Smulders”. But apparently that’s her actual name.
Anyway, as we reported previously (complete with this blogger horribly misspelling her name), there are three actresses up for the role of Maria Hill, and Smulders is one of the five.
There’s a lot of speculation, especially since the audition for the role was yesterday, and supposedly Smulders is the front runner now. I can’t really say whether or not she’ll do a good job, but then again, this is Maria Hill, a female character created by Bendis. All the actress really has to do to be faithful to the character is show up and look good in a black catsuit.
