One ‘X-Men: Apocalypse’ actor worked almost two months for 3 minutes of footage

When X-Men: Days of Future Past hit theaters, most people were pretty impressed with Quicksilver”s scene-stealing powers. Or more specifically, they were impressed with the camera work and intense editing needed to make audiences feel like Quicksilver was a dude living amongst people trapped in amber.

Director Bryan Singer knew he”d have to step it up a notch for X-Men: Apocalypse. Luckily, actor Evan Peters was game. The results? Peters ended up working longer than any other actor on the film. One 3 minute sequence alone took a month and a half, according to Singer.

As the man says, you can have it fast or you can have it cute. You can”t have both.
