Star Wars is the exception to just about every rule, having punched through the pop culture firmament to become universally loved. That goodwill will buoy a lot of things…even a trailer for the deleted scenes on The Force Awakens Blu-Ray.
Portrayed with a seriousness usually reserved for full-length films, I have to wonder if Lucasfilm is messing with us. Just a little.
According to the press release, the deleted scenes will include:
“Finn and the Villager”, “Jakku Message”, “X-Wings Prepare for Lightspeed”, “Kylo Searches The Falcon”, “Snow Speeder Chase,” and “Finn Will Be Fine” on the Digital HD and Blu-ray Combo Pack, plus a special bonus deleted scene, “Tunnel Standoff” only on Digital HD or by redeeming the digital copy included in the Blu-ray Combo Pack.
Star Wars: The Force Awakens arrives on home video April 1, 2016 and combo pack on April 5, 2016.
