In this month’s issue of Vanity Fair, reporter Maureen Orth catches up with Mia Farrow 20 years after she originally wrote about Farrow’s ex-husband, Woody Allen, and his alleged sexual abuse of their adopted daughter, Dylan. For the first time since that strange, awful scandal, Dylan is also speaking out about what she went through all those years ago, while Allen still denies that anything wrong ever happened. Honestly, it’s a dark, sad road that I’m not willing to go down this time of night.
On a much lighter note, Farrow was also asked about her relationship with the late Frank Sinatra and the actress-turned-activist dropped a little bombshell of the obvious variety about her very loyal son, Ronan Farrow.
Farrow discusses her relationship with Frank Sinatra, telling Orth that Sinatra was the great love of her life, and says, “We never really split up.” When asked point-blank if her biological son with Woody Allen, Ronan Farrow, may actually be the son of Frank Sinatra, Farrow answers, “Possibly.” No DNA tests have been done. When Orth asks Nancy Sinatra Jr. about Ronan’s being treated as if he were a member of her family, Sinatra answers in an e-mail, “He is a big part of us, and we are blessed to have him in our lives.”
I mean, you can have a vague idea of what Sinatra looks like and then look at that picture of Ronan Farrow above, and you’d probably say, “Yeah, that’s Sinatra’s kid.” But just for the sake of science, here’s my own quick version of a DNA test.
This is a photo of Ronan Farrow:
Now here’s a photo of Woody Allen:
Here’s Ronan Farrow again:
And now Frank Sinatra:
Let’s look at Ronan one more time:
Now look at Woody Allen again:
Ronan Farrow is 99.9% Frank Sinatra’s son. But at least the Rhodes Scholar has a great sense of humor about it all:
(Important Note: I had no clue Vince did this same exact thing earlier, but great minds and all.)
