As the NBA Slam Dunk contest putters to a sad, shark-jumping demise, non-NBAdunkers are showing superior skill. That’s where Detroit’s Doug Anderson comes in. Buddy put together a performance for the ages at the NCAA dunk contest on Thursday night. I’m not totally sure if he’s ever going to make the league as I’m not going to pretend I really know who he is, but he just out-dunked this year’s crop of NBA players who tried their hand at All-Star weekend.
This only strengthens the argument that the dunk contest should be just regular guys with crazy hops. Actually if you threw a Pistons jersey who would know he’s not actually in the NBA?
