Carrie Underwood’s ‘Something in the Water’ video: Buoyant, redemptive, wet

A lot of people get wet in Carrie Underwood's “Something in the Water” video – except for Carrie Underwood, that is.

The country superstar premiered the clip from her latest single at tonight's 48th Annual CMA Awards, and in it Underwood stands comfortably in a shallow pool of water as dancers engage in a choreographed dance all around her. So much faith-based diva-ness on display. Can barely stand it.

Underwood, who's co-hosting tonight's show with Brad Paisley for the seventh time, also performed the song – a single off her upcoming greatest hits album (!) – at the ceremony, and you can check out video of her live rendition further down the page.

“Greatest Hits: Decade #1” is available to buy December 9.
