UFC on FOX 24 is rolling along nicely from Kansas City, Missouri and we just got to witness the successful debut fight of highly touted prospect Tom Duquesnoy, who didn’t just knock his opponent out … he knocked him out twice!
The bantamweight Duquesnoy was offered a UFC contract three years ago, but decided to turn it down and work on his fundamentals. That time paid off as his opponent and strong wrestler Patrick Williams was unable to keep him down. While Duquesnoy did take a couple of worrisome shots in the first round, he turned up the heat at the end and seemed to knock Williams out right at the bell.

But somehow the fight wasn’t waved off and Patrick was allowed to come out on wobbly legs to once again get hit hard by everything Duquesnoy had. Tom knocked him back down to the canvas and finished him with elbows 28 seconds into the second round.
UFC on FOX 24 is headlined by a flyweight title fight between champion Demetrious Johnson and challenger Wilson Reis, and features an important women’s strawweight battle between top contenders Michelle ‘The Karate Hottie’ Waterson and ‘Thug’ Rose Namajunas. Also on the card: submission specialist ‘Jacare’ Souza versus Robert Whittaker and knockout artist Jeremy Stephens versus Renato Moicano.
