Last Wednesday, a TMZ journalist caught up with Transformers 4 star and former rapper Mark Wahlberg to ask him the question that was on everyone’s minds two years ago – “What’s up with the Entourage movie?” Wahlberg, of course, was the show’s executive producer because it was basically the story of his life, how he rose to inexplicable fame with very limited acting talent and carried his worthless friends on his shoulders for years, I presume. His answer was a little surprising, as he inferred that the show’s stars were being greedy, which is hilarious, because what the f*ck else are those guys doing?
Never one to miss a follow-up, TMZ caught up with Kevin Connolly yesterday, probably on his way to a Best Buy voiceover recording, and he said that not only is the movie still happening, but filming begins in January. “Cool, I guess… whatever,” responded some guy who watched the show five years ago.
And don’t just take Connolly’s word for it. Entourage’s star, Adrian Grenier, has since spoken out about Wahlberg’s comments as well, as he posted this wordy message to his Instagram.
Cool, bro. And then like all celebrities, he also commented on the TMZ story about Connolly’s response.
Meanwhile, the guy who played Turtle said he’d do the movie for free, to which everyone in Hollywood laughed and said, “Sure, dude.”
P.S. – Adrian Grenier’s Facebook page is something else. I think – and this is just my amateur guess – that he likes having his picture taken. Don’t quote me, but the guy seems to like the way he looks.
