UPDATE: Yet More ‘X-Men: Days Of Future Past’ Pics Featuring Ian, Patrick, Halle And Anna Paquin’s Butt
Empire is continuing its day-long reveal of twenty-five different covers for X-Men: Days Of Future Past. So far we’ve seen images of Beast, Stryker, Bolivar Trask, Havoc, Toad, a Sentinel, and Naked Blue Jennifer Lawrence. Here are the next three that have debuted.
First up, and taken in an absolutely shocking direction, is Wolverine. Man, they finally got Hugh Jackman to take his shirt off for a movie. That must have cost them an absolute fortune.
Next up is either Professor X from the early ’70s or James McAvoy casually dressed, who just wandered into the shoot thinking “Eh, these pants are tight enough.” Note that these covers are in character and then see if you can spot the rather interesting question this cover raises.
Finally, there’s Magneto, who seems to finally have adopted purple as his color of choice. Thankfully, Michael Fassbinder did not get in on the removing-clothing shenanigans, although if he did, we guarantee Empire would have photoshopped a little helmet on it.
If you’re wondering what the current run of covers looks like clumsily strung together, here’s each cover in order up to Wolverine. There doesn’t seem to be a lot to the covers in terms of spoilers. As for who we haven’t seen yet, it’s a safe bet that Storm, Colossus, Rogue, Iceman, Kitty Pryde, Old Wolvie, Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellan will be showing up. Personally, I’m just hoping Cipher gets his time to shine. We’ll have a round-up of new covers tweeted later today, courtesy of our own Nathan Birch.
UPDATE: Needless to say, the microsecond I hit “post” a new cover was released:
