When last we checked in with elephant-waterer Reese Witherspoon, she was berating a police officer for not knowing who she was. Her exact words, said with the cruelest of intentions, “Do you know my name?” Well, now it appears the shoe is on the other creepy-foot-compilation, because at this week’s Met Ball, model Cara Delevingne filmed Witherspoon fumbling her name.
“I love you, Cara,” Witherspoon is overheard saying, after saying the name a few times with different pronunciations.
“I don’t know what your f*cking name is…that’s super-French, Delevingne.” (Via)
But that’s not why we’re posting this video — if we had a nickel for every time a millionaire actress bumbled the name of a equally rich model, we’d have enough dough to buy a plane ticket to Atlanta, where we’d make that poor cop watch Four Christmases on a loop until Death himself takes pity on the guy (so, midway through the first viewing). The true highlight is Reese’s advice for women everywhere, but especially Kate Upton and Zooey Deschanel, who are both in the elevator.
“The most important thing about a name for a girl is that a man can whisper it in his pillow,” she told her fellow gala goers. (Via)
That’s the second wisest thing I’ve ever heard someone say in an elevator.
