At this point, Facebook has probably ruined more relationships than strip clubs, but it’s nice to see the ticked-off people of the world finding new and creative ways to make us wonder at how stupid they are.
Take, for example, this fight in Sacramento. It got started over a Facebook post that was planned as a duel over Facebook — and turned into a 30-woman fistfight, complete with people attacking each other with rocks, bottles, and freaking baseball bats.
According to Sacramento Police Department Officer Michele Gigante, the fight reportedly began when a woman saw what she interpreted as a suggestive post on her husband’s Facebook account from another woman.
“The incident is still under investigation,” said Gigante to The Huffington Post. “But it looks like the women then met for a fight, along with their friends or other people involved.”
By the time police arrived, the fight had already dispersed. But witnesses reported seeing at least 30 women using baseball bats, bottles, rocks and other weapons.
Two people were sent to the hospital with major injuries, although thankfully that was pretty much the extent of it. And we also have to give kudos to everybody involved in the clip under the jump, because somehow, they all keep a straight face and don’t go off into a rant about human stupidity.
