Exactly.
And five days after waiving his no-trade clause to be dealt from the Brooklyn Nets to the Minnesota Timberwolves, Kevin Garnett is officially back where his legendary career began 19 years ago.
During a wildly entertaining introductory press conference Tuesday afternoon, an affable, charming Garnett made clear that ‘Sota is where he wants to be. And though he admits that the lureĀ of a storybook ending like this one played a part in his decision to come home, the future Hall-of-Famer also said the Timberwolves’ wealth of young talent played a major role in his choice, too.
Even more encouraging for nostalgic Wolves and KG fans across the globe? The 38 year-old says his second go-round with Minny will last far longer than his first.
KG says he's in it for the long haul. Wants to be in ownership here and take it to a title

Garnett will make his second Timberwolves debut in front of a raucous Target Center crowd tomorrow night against the Washington Wizards at 8:00 EST.
