Holy crap, how did I not know this monstrosity existed? More importantly, why didn’t my parents love me enough to buy one?!
Well, turns out my parents loved me after all because the Oldsmobile Expression never went into full production. The hideous, dildo-shaped station wagon was unveiled at the 1990 Chicago Auto Show. Understandably, the car wasn’t a hit with with car enthusiasts, but it probably would have been a hit with kids. Why? Because of this…
Yes, that’s an NES built into the back hatch of the car. The Expression also came with a built-in VCR player.
Oldsmobile probably would have died a lot sooner if they put this thing out, but I can’t help but feel a little sad that nobody actually got to drive this beast.
The Oldsmobile Expression designer was a real visionary.
