There’s little that’s as fun as reading old Viking sagas and epic poems. It’s basically Ye Olde Comice Bookes. Seriously. “The Song of Roland” features a dude blowing a horn so hard his head explodes, and this is after he gets stabbed about a thousand times. And that’s the least weird of the old epics.
Anyway, there are few characters in video games truly worthy of an epic poem. One of them is the most satisfying character in Final Fight: Haggar.
Everything about this is pretty much pitch perfect, from the rhyming scheme to the over-the-top nature of the poem (there’s a reason it goes on for nearly ten minutes). See for yourself…
