JJ Abrams’ Star Wars: The Force Awakens is set to open December 18th, meaning we have just six more months of possible spoilers and breathless speculation. The latest tidbit is the reveal of Andy Serkis’s character, which comes in a Vanity Fair interview (via StarWars.com) with longtime Star Wars photographer Annie Leibovitz. We discover that Andy Serkis will be playing (drumroll)…

SUPREME LEADER SNOKE. Hooray! (I have no idea who that is). But don’t worry, he brought his spandex onesie:

A previously unpublished photo of Andy Serkis, also sporting mo-cap gear for his portrayal of Supreme Leader Snoke, is available here exclusively.

Anyone want to speculate who and/or what “Supreme Leader Snoke” is? I have a few guesses, but my inhaler is in the other room. Andy Serkis always seems super serious for a guy who makes a living hopping around pretending to be a monkey, doesn’t he?

I used to say this even before Paul Walker died, but now more than ever, Andy Serkis should play Paul Walker in the Fast/Furious sequels.
