You have to hand it to Donald Trump’s son Eric, who has been valiantly trying to shift the media’s focus from his father praising Saddam Hussein and using a Star of David in an attack ad against Hillary Clinton. Earlier this week, there’s been talk that Former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich might be the one to accept Trump’s VP rose, but Trump’s running mate might be closer to him than you think. Sen. Bob Corker (R-Tenn.) said in an interview with MSNBC that Trump’s best pick for Vice President would be his daughter Ivanka, however he did say that “it wouldn’t pass muster, probably.”
Eric Trump went on Fox and Friends this morning and completely agreed with the senator that his sister should be the one stating, “I agree, right? She’s got the beautiful looks, right? She’s got — she’s smart, she’s smart, smart, smart. … She’s certainly got my vote.” Fox’s Steve Doocy asked if Ivanka is even old enough to become Vice President. Lucky for her father, she will be. Eric explained that Ivanka’s 35th birthday is on October, 30 “so she’d just make that by about by, you know, seven, eight days.”
Recently, Ivanka mentioned that her father is a feminist, but maybe she will be throwing her “Make America Great Again” hat into the Vice Presidential pool to gain female voters. If she does, Trump’s campaign team will probably have to change their famous slogan to “Make America a Monarchy Again.”
