It was shades of pre-2010 Cavs early on in Friday night’s game against the Knicks at Madison Square Garden when LeBron James rose up for a monster jam off a perfect lob from Mo Williams.

LeBron had a solid first half as he put up 13 points to go along with three rebounds, three assists, and two steals. Despite his efforts, he was the only Cav who scored in double figures as Cleveland trailed the Knicks 53-46 at the half. Kevin Love struggled mightily with his shot to start the game as he went just 1-of-6 from the field and 1-of-4 from behind-the-arc.
However, it was all about Carmelo Anthony in the first half as the exploded for 22 points on a ridiculously efficient 8-of-11 from the floor overall, including 4-of-5 from downtown. He was all over the place, as evidenced by this sequence where he swatted away an Anderson Varejao dunk attempt, then knocked down a pull-up three-pointer on the other end. But like LeBron, Me7o was the only player in double figures for his team going into the third quarter.
