We have been intrigued by first-round pick Zach LaVine’s insane athleticism ever since he posted a 46-inch vertical leap during a pre-draft workout in June. Now, wearing a Timberwolves jersey, LaVine got Las Vegas rockin’ with a monster flush against the Suns.
After T’wolves center Kyrylo Fesenko set a bone-crushing screen at the top of the key, the former UCLA Bruin exploded to the rim, showing off his stunning jumping ability in all its glory for the Cox Pavilion crowd before finishing with a mean tomahawk jam.
LaVine finished with a team-high 20 points as the Timberwolves went on to beat the Suns, 86-77. We think the 19-year-old LaVine got dunk-happy after the tomahawk earler in the game because he pulled out a 360 after the final whistle:
