Frotcast 41: Raising guinea pigs & doing cocaine, the interview

(the player below takes a second to load. here’s a direct link to the podcast.)

This week on the frotcast, we were happy to welcome Bob Ray, Austin filmmaker and director of the documentary Total Badass, about Austin writer/drug dealer/punk rocker/local hero/giant penis-haver (literally speaking) Chad Holt, which you may remember from the post “I took a year off to raise guinea pigs and do cocaine.”

Or from when the New York Times wrote about it, if you’re fancy like that.  Bob tells us all about the making of his documentary, getting people to sign off on footage of them taking drugs and having sex, and of course, exact numbers on how much cocaine a person needs to raise a proper guinea pig. In all honesty, I think this is one of the more interesting Frotcasts we’ve recorded, and if you’ve never heard one before now, I’d recommend giving this one a listen. INTERVIEW BEGINS AT THE 37-MINUTE MARK.

Bob’s film doesn’t have a distributor as of yet, but you can get it on DVD at CRASHCAMFILMS.  We also had a lot of fun with your emails and Danzig stories, so keep those coming.  Frot on, space dockers.
